Regenerative TimeLab Quests

  • QUEST 1

    Non-Linear Time & Space
An invitation to challenge our understanding of causality and continuity, opening doors to speculative fiction and philosophical enquiry into the nature of reality.

This Quest explores topics like Deep Time, Longterm Thinking, Regenerative Futures, Regenerative Spaces, Spatial Narratives and Time Perception.

  • QUEST 2

    The Art of Regenerative Being
During this research & learning journey we dive into the existential questions of how to live a conscious and regenerative life in times of change & crisis.

This Quest explores topics like Regeneration, Meaning, Resilience, Belonging, Being, Minimalism and how to overcome existing patterns.

  • QUEST 3

    ReWild your Human Nature
We are all nature and wild at heart, but we got disconnected to the roots of all life. How can we rewild ourselves and bring back some wilderness in our artificial environments.

This Quest explores topics like Multispecies Communication, Biodiversity, Biophilia, Wildlife Tracking, Nature Immersions, Rewilding Perception, Animism.

The Regenerative TimeLab is a curated, open platform for interdisciplinary collaboration.

Currently we are in the final phase of defining the Quests.
We are looking for partners, sponsors and collaborators.

As soon as the critical mass of required resources and/or funding is reached, a Quest will be officially opened.
In the meanwhile we work on all Quests on a bootstrap mode and run experiences, events and research sprints on a voluntary base.

Building an ongoing learning loop

Regenerative TimeLab activities are centred around experiential research quests to fully immerse oneself in the complexity of a topic.

Each Quest consists of 4 phases in a non-linear, but circular and iterative timeline, encompassing the journey through disruptions and contradictions. This circularity and interconnectedness reflects the fluid and multifaceted nature of time itself and encourages a deeper understanding of its crucial role in transformation. Our approach facilitates a seamless transition from awareness to action by fostering self-agency and responsiveness, integrating the concept of 'regenerative time literacy' to adapt to ongoing societal change.

ReConnect

This initial phase involves assembling a diverse group of individuals who bring their perspectives and existing knowledge to shape the Quest. It's a phase of orientation and commitment, fostering a community capable of collaborative exploration.

ReSearch

Following the formation of our collaborative group, we delve into various research methodologies according to the needs of the Quest. This phase might include traditional data collection like surveys and literature reviews, but primarily focuses on our research-by-design approach, where experiential data is gathered to inform deeper qualitative analyses.

ReLearn

As data is collected and experiences unfold, participants undergo a learning process that is both self-directed and guided by mentors. Peer-to-peer co-learning sessions are integral, allowing for shared insights and enhanced engagement, which may spur further inquiries and experimentation.

ReDesign

The insights and learnings from previous phases are then used to prototype new processes, products, or experiences. This phase closes the loop but also feeds into the next cycle of Quests, embodying the principles of systemic design to ensure that each solution informs and improves the overall system.

What are Quests?

Time well invested to…

The Regenerative TimeLab is an experiment to create a different kind of holistic education.
A Regenerative Time Movement.

We all need to relearn how to live in balance with each other and non human beings on this fantastic planet.
