Hi, I’m Amrei!
I am a social entrepreneur, regenerative & deep ecology experience designer creating immersive experiences that connect people deeply with the natural world—not just for enjoyment, but for transformation. My work is grounded in deep ecology, a philosophy that recognizes the intrinsic value of all living beings and calls for a profound shift in human consciousness and behavior.
For the past 12 years I worked with groups, teams and individuals in holding space for socio-ecological transformation.
My work includes leading group processes, teaching facilitation and regenerative experience design, designing and leading bespoke transformational rituals, supporting changemakers to create new stories, mentoring and working with progressive businesses and organisations to 'think and live differently'.
My ongoing quest is to foster awareness and curiosity for the fascinating nature of all life to create self agency to act in times of uncertainty and poly crises. I am campaigning for and working with collaborators to change the status quo of a human-centric to eco-centric narrative.

How do I work?
Experiential learning in nature fosters curiosity, relationships and creativity.
This emotional connection serves as a basis for active work to protect and raise awareness of biodiversity and the more than human world.
There is a need to relearn about nature within nature, the systemic connections of all life and how we interact with each other.
Understanding how the ecosystem around us works and seeing ourselves as part of that system strengthens our connection to ourselves, nature and place. This love and enthusiasm is the basis for a personal contribution to conservation and biodiversity.
It is not about categorising and naming everything scientifically, but about a creative, playful, holistic understanding of different ecosystems.

I work from principles of deep ecology (very much inspired by the piylosophy of Arne Næss), such as:
• All life has inherent value.
• Humans are not separate from nature but part of the whole.
• Simplicity, interconnectedness, and reverence for life matter more than control and consumption.

I design immersive, place-based experiences—often in wild or sacred natural spaces like forests or mountains. These may include:
• Nature immersion walks
• Storytelling and mythic framing
• Council circles and guided reflection
• Sensory awareness practices
• Rituals or ceremonies
• Creative expression

I create a brave, intentional container for participants to:
• Slow down
• Listen—deeply—to the land and to themselves
• Grieve ecological loss and disconnection
• Discover wonder, awe, and a renewed sense of belonging

Methods and approaches from deep ecology, environmental psychology and regenerative experience design support the development of personal nature awareness, self-efficacy and enjoyment of nature conservation.
Mindfulness exercises, storytelling, sensory exercises, animal tracking, tasting wild herbs, observing animals and reflecting on oneself within the system, promote the development of ecological thinking - love for life!

Regenerative Experience Design is lead by Regenerative Design Principles
to explore alternative narratives to nurture a life-supporting mindset and behaviors for your professional and/or personal contexts. Strong connections are facilitated between humans and nature as interconnected living systems. Nature becomes a co-facilitator of the experience, fostering a critical mindset for socio-ecological transformation.
